Our Mission

To develop a workforce development program that will provide basic carpentry training services to young adults aged 18-25 in Leon County.

In the process, this will:

Teach Basic Carpentry Skills
Lead to Employment Opportunities
Assist With Re-Entry

Lead to a reduction in:

Crime
Violence
Recidivism
And Homelessness

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1 PM–4 PM
Duration: 6-weeks
Location: 1704 Joe Louis St.
Scholarships Provided By: Griffin Heights Neighborhood Association’s Community Engagement Fund

The 12 students chosen to participate will earn money each week while they learn and graduate from this program with many employment opportunities.
