build your future today

At Community Carpentry USA Inc., we believe in second chances and building brighter futures for our teenagers. Our afterschool program is for teenagers aged 16-18 to learn basic carpentry skills, earn money while learning. Through hands-on training, mentorship, and real-world projects, we provide opportunities for youth to learn, grow, and make money.

Learn, Earn, and Build

This program operates Monday–Friday, 4 PM–7 PM, offering a structured environment where teens can:

  • Learn how to build homes and handle carpentry basics.
  • Earn money while they learn.
  • Grow their confidence and skills, preparing for work on construction sites.

Scholarships are generously provided by the Griffin Heights Neighborhood First Plan. Our lead instructor, David Vanwilliams, brings years of expertise and a passion for mentorship to guide our students every step of the way.
